Job Details: • Ratios: 1:4. Avg. Daily Census: Unit will max at 24 patients. • "Normal population" = Intermediate population that is sub-specialized with neurological population along with medical intermediate patients. • Shift: 36 and 48s can be offered. 12 HR DAYS; 06:45 - 19:15. • RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer. • Float Requirement: FLOATING REQUIRED to other intermediate areas along with critical care. • Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends every 6 weeks, a total of 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sunday. • Must be willing to work either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and/or New Years Eve/New Years Day. • Patient Diagnoses: Intermediate population that is sub specialized with neurological population along with medical intermediate patients. • Special Procedures / Unit Details: This patient population will be geared towards the neurological patients along with the medical intermediate patient population. • Unit Systems: PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR. • Scheduling Type: Self Schedule that is then balanced/approved by staffer. • Unit Orientation: 32 Hours, 8 hour computer class plus two shifts on the unit of orientation. • Scrubs: Any combination of navy blue and white.
Fatigue Policy: Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row and/or more than 60 hours in a week.
Modules: • Acute Care roles: 8-10 hours of modules. • Non-Acute roles: 4-5 hours of modules. • Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, and hours vary by specialty. • Modules are recorded via online learning, and Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes.
