Types of Cases Preferred:
Unit Summary: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice.

• First-timer travelers accepted: Y
• Weekend REQ: Yes, must be available to work weekends with full flexibility to be scheduled when needed. With variable shift, weekend reqs depend what shift they're on the schedule for: For days - 4 weekend shifts Saturday/Sunday. For nights - 5 shifts Friday/Saturday one full weekend off per 4 week schedule.
• National Certs REQ: PALS and BLS
• Is on-call REQ? No
• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
• Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
• Open to accommodating block schedule? No
• Locals accepted: No
• RTO Restrictions: 6 days RTO max
• Guaranteed Hours: hours are guaranteed after the call off policy has been met

Special Requirements:
• CA license
• 2 full years of recent independent PICU experience (PICU experience must be within the last year)
• Willing to float between units (CVPICU & NICU)
• BLS
• PALS
• Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG.
• Prefers at least 1 travel assignment, however, will consider 1st timer if strong experience
• Flu Shot
