SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING • Charting: EPIC experience required • Weekend Requirement: Every Other • RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Must submit requests upon submission • Call off Policy: The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours. • Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed • Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes • Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: RN's within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Locals accepted for LPN's • Pending License Accepted: No, Must have an active New York Single State RN or LPN license. (NY is not Compact)
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS • IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs); IV vasopressors • CPAP/BiPAP; Ventilator management • CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI • Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias) • Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma) • Isolation precautions; Triage; Pediatric spinal cord injury
UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING • Ratios: 1:5; Adults, Geriatrics; All emergency type diagnoses • Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment • Floating: Will be required to float within skillset • Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white
