We are currently seeking a full-time, 40 hours per week, 4 - 10 hours per day, start times will vary, and occasional calls. The Central Sterile Supply Technician will join the Surgery Department's team of professionals. Some essential functions of this position include: • Process and sterilize all OR and departmental instrumentation. • Clean and test all sterilizers on a daily basis. • Create pre-packaged instruments for specific procedures. • Set up case carts for OR cases.
We require a high school or equivalent graduate; a certified technician is preferred. Knowledge of hospital instruments is preferred. PLEASE NOT THAT THE INFLUENZA VACCINATION IS MANDATED BY THE STATE OF MAINE. ONLY MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS ARE ACCEPTED UPON APPROVAL.
