Additional Unit Information • Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary • Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac Medical ICU, ACS, Acute MI, Cardiogenic Shock, Post interventional cardiac procedure patients, Decompensating heart failure, TAVR. Secondary diagnosis included to but not limited to GI bleed, chronic or acute renal failure, exacerbation of airway disease, diabetes mellitus, pneumonia, and r/o embolus. • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Hypothermia protocol • Special Equipment: IABP, Impella, Activated Clotting time, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, Vents, EKOS
