Aligned Incentives

How billing works
Shift work, PRN: invoiced the week after the shift is completed
Contract roles: billed weekly with a one week lag, week 1 billed in week 2
Permanent hires: billed only after the worker reaches day 100
Our fee is added on top of the pay you advertise and offer.
We never take a cut from the worker.
Stopping Work and Billing
If work stops for any reason, billing stops immediately.
Move the worker out of Working into Done, then select whose decision it was: the facility, the MSP, your organization, or the worker.
That choice becomes part of your Goodwork Stats.
The worker sees your update and can agree or disagree.
Their response also becomes part of both parties' Stats.
If there is disagreement, both sides can resolve it inside Goodwork.
Even if they disagree, billing still stops immediately.
Whoever pays always has the final say.
Transparency keeps both sides honest, because when an employer marks a worker as done, that worker stops receiving their Goodwork bonus and is instantly notified.

Free Database CPR, Optional
Most agencies have thousands of inactive candidates in their ATS.
Database CPR brings them back.
We securely connect to your ATS, find strong matches between your current jobs and past candidates, and re-engage them through email, SMS, AI voice, and in app messages.
Your candidates are never contacted about jobs from other agencies.
Placements that result from Database CPR are billed at a discounted rate since you provided the candidate.
It is free and completely optional.

You Decide What Makes an Applicant Worth Your Recruiter's Time

You can mark any job field as required.
If a required field is missing or does not meet your selected values, when the candidate tries to apply they will be told which fields are required to match before they can apply and we make it easy for them to add the missing info from the job details page so they are more likely to get it done right then.

Natural Limits That Protect Real Conversations

Our limits are intentional guardrails that make sure every interaction is real, timely, and respectful.
As former staffing agency owners, we used to post competitive jobs and get hundreds of applications within an hour for a single opening.
No recruiter can handle that many conversations, and no candidate wants to feel ignored.
We built Goodwork to help recruiters and candidates have better, more focused conversations that lead to real work.
Natural limits preserve capacity for genuine communication.
For recruiters and jobs
Each job and each recruiter can have no more than 20 unopened applications at one time
If a job hits its limit, it automatically unpublishes and hides from new applicants
If a recruiter hits their limit, they temporarily stop receiving new leads until they process the ones they already have
Notifications are sent instantly by email and in app message to the relevant recruiters and admins.
As soon as three or more applications move out of unopened status, the job republishes automatically.
For workers
Up to three applications per day, or nine with a public profile
A hard cap of forty applications per calendar month

Verified, humans who can work in the US
All workers are paid their half of the fees we receive from you through Branch, which performs full KYC verification.
This confirms they are a real person who can legally receive payment in the United States.

Each side can see what the other is doing.
When your recruiter opens, moves, or closes an application, the worker sees it instantly and vice versa.

Automatic Messaging Threads
When a candidate applies, Goodwork creates a message thread between that candidate and the recruiter assigned to the job.
The thread stays open even after the role closes, so your recruiters can suggest new jobs and keep relationships active for free.

Built in reminders help recruiters avoid ghosting.
When a job closes, all applicants are automatically notified.

Feedback is required and cannot be skipped, with “as expected” being the default selection unless manually change to one of the other 2 options.

To receive the full half, they must complete their profile and submit their weekly feedback.

Non recruiting organizations
Employers such as hospitals and clinics whose main business is not recruiting.
Recruiting organizations pay significantly less.
Non recruiting organizations pay at least twice as much, and often more, since they typically provide a worse experience to applicants.

How long does setup take

Do you verify workers
Yes. Every worker is Branch KYC verified and licensed through board integrations.
