We built Goodwork after living the challenges of healthcare staffing from every side.
Our founders and leadership team have worked as clinicians, owned and operated staffing agencies, recruited healthcare professionals, and led teams inside hospitals.
We also used the same job sites that dominate the industry, and we did not like them.
They felt impersonal and one sided.
Information was hidden, only one side could leave reviews, and trust was constantly breaking down.
Even well meaning people struggled to work together when their incentives were misaligned.
We knew there had to be a better way.
We believe work is good for people when it is well matched.
The right work gives structure, purpose, and connection.

Employers post jobs for free and pay only after verified work begins.
When that happens, we share half of our fee with the person doing the work.
