Must have BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, NRP. Must have SC License. 2 years of experience required. Will accept 1st travelers. Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience. Our nurses are 1:1 with labor patients, 1:2 with cytotec inductions, 1:1 with mag patients, 1:3 with couplet (mother baby) care. If a baby goes to the sick nursery, the RN is 1:1.

However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.

Will consider nurses with 1+ years of recent experience in unit. Orientation is every Monday. Pre Assignment testing (all RNs) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract. EMR experience: 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required.
