• Float Requirement: Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool). Candidates will float all medical/Surgical floors. It is common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets and based on census. Candidate must be comfortable floating based on the job description with no restrictions or special requests.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other Weekend REQUIRED.
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
• Patient Diagnoses: Patients are med surg (We no longer accept cardiac telemetry patients as before). Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units. Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient. Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID.

• Fatigue Policy: Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row and/or more than 60 hours in a week.
• Modules: Modules are non-billable. Acute Care roles: 8-10 hours of modules. Non-Acute roles: 4-5 hours of modules. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, and hours vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via online learning, and Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes.
