Reference Requirements: • 2 professional references are required. • At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). • Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. • No coworker references accepted.
Eligibility: • Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. • Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
Ohio Fingerprinting Process: • PLEASE NOTE: ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE MADE AWARE OF THE URGENCY OF THE OHIO FINGERPRINTING PROCESS. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. TRAVELERS WHO ARE UNRESPONSIVE OR UNCOOPERATIVE WITH CREDENTIALING ARE AT RISK OF PUSH/CANCEL. • All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. • Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team. • RTO required with submission, must be built into contract. • Locals are accepted at the same rate.
