Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure. • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.
Unit Details: • 2 years of experience required. • Prior travel preferred. • Ratios: 4-5:1. • Common patient diagnoses: Stroke, SDH, ICH, Altered Mental Status, Post Op Neuro, Dementia. • EMR: Epic. • Scrubs: Galaxy Blue. • FLOATING REQUIRED - Travelers are first to float, possibly float to other sister campuses as well. • Culture is VERY important here. Travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff does.
