Experience: Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
Licenses/ Certification/ Registration: BLS from the AHA required. Must have an active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI). License can either be permanent or temporary. Must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities: Must be capable of operating state of the art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors and other supportive devices. Must possess interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment. Must demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
Epic Charting experience is a hard stop requirement.
Travelers are first to float to West Valley Hospital, located approximately 15 minutes away from Salem Hospital. Refusing to float may result in contract cancellation.
Candidates may be submitted to one job within the Salem health system, with an email detailing other units they are interested in at the time of initial submittal. Travelers will not be submitted to additional units.
Former permanent employees may not submit to travel positions at any Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics for six months after their employment termination date.
