Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure. • Minimum years of experience in specialty. • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.

General Information • Beds: 17 • Experience: 2 years • First-time traveler: Upon review • Patient Types: Neonate to geriatrics; all patient types, level III trauma • Patient Ratios: Day- 1:3-4 Night- 1:5
Required Certifications: • Paramedics: BLS, ACLS, PALS, WI License • De-escalation cert is NOT required • Skills required General ED skills
Support on the Unit: • CNA: 1:17 • Charge nurse: takes patient assignment on night shift • Phlebotomy/RN: draws blood • Resource Nurse RT 24/7 • Hospitalist 24/7 • Bedside and nurse station tele monitoring • Paramedics- if they are not on a call, they will work in the ED
Charting System/Equipment: • EPIC • Alaris IV Pump • Pyxis
Floating: None
Orientation: At least one shift on unit
