Excel is seeking highly skilled healthcare professionals for travel assignments across the United States. As a Travel Healthcare Professional, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse healthcare settings, providing essential medical care while exploring new locations and cultures.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure. • Minimum 2 years of experience. • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.

Additional Information: • Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) • State License, BLS and ACLS Required. • 2 years experience required. • Days with every other weekend and holidays. • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required. • Flu Vaccine: Unknown. • Valid PA License or Compact License (required at time of submission). • COVID Vaccination Status required / Booster Status required. • No Radius Rule. • 2 Supervisor references preferred. • Local candidates accepted at the travel rate. • Candidates will float within hospital when needed. • Certs required please see job description/unit description to find list of required certs depending on unit. • No Specific Charting Experience Required. • Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer. • Any Permanent Employee cannot return as a traveler unless it's a different specialty. • Modules are non billable. Excela requires these modules to be completed for any clinical staff prior to entering the facility (students, interns, residents, temp staff, etc.).
