Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN

Ratios:
• Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7).
• Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in)

Support Staff:
• We have PCT s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG s and any sort of activity of daily living.
• We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines.

Requirements:
• Years of experience REQ: 1
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Weekend REQ: EOW
• Certs REQ: BLS
• Is on-call REQ? No
• Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units? Yes, will not practice outside of scope
• Open to accommodating block schedule? They will try but not guaranteed
• RTO Restrictions: Please keep RTO close to 1 week

• Nasal Cannula

• Portable Oxygen tank

Patient Diagnosis:
• Acute kidney injury
• Sepsis
• Covid
• Alcohol Withdrawal
• Altered mental status
• Variety of infections (Gangrene, Necrotizing fasciitis, osteomylitis, pneumonia, etc.)

Special Equipment:
• SCD pump
• Bear Hugger
• Wound vac
• Tube feeding pump

Charting: Epic Preferred
Scrub Color: Any combo of navy and white

• Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary
• Patient Diagnoses: Acute kidney injury, Sepsis, Covid, Alcohol Withdrawal, Altered mental status, Variety of infections (Gangrene, Necrotizing fasciitis, osteomylitis, pneumonia, etc.)
