Unit Information: We are a Level 1 trauma center, support over 30 ORs, 6ICUs, 70+ bed ER, and around 700 inpatients beds. First Time Travelers Accepted***
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to: 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

Facility & Patient Care Details • Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics • Special Procedures/Unit Details: We are a Level 1 trauma center, support over 30 ORs, 6ICUs, 70+ bed ER, and around 700 inpatients beds.
Level 1 trauma exp required - do not pass w/out trauma 1 exp.
RTO: We can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.
18 months exp. required, however please refer to job description for any exceptions made depending on the unit.
License: Must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once perm license applications have been submitted.
2 supervisor references required.
Local Radius: IN residents are considered local.
Local Rules: • Accepted: Surgical Services positions, Allied positions, and IU Clinics will accept local travelers • Not accepted: For MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions, locals are not accepted
Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by.
Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer.
Any PERM or PRN employee of IU must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler.
