The expected start date is based on Novant s schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, also Code Stroke and some trauma patients. VERY FAST PACED. On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs. Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs. Third shift there is 1 tech. Weekends we have 2 techs. Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens Scanner, GE. Our machines is a Siemens (Model Name is the FORCE).

This is a 650 bed Facility. • Special Procedures/Unit Details : This position is for third shift 7p to 7a Friday, Saturday, Sunday. This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, also Code Stroke and level 2 trauma patients. On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs. I would say the typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients. Do not take call. • 150-200 Daily Scans M-F • 150 Daily Scans Friday/Saturday/Sunday • Special Equipment : Our machines are Siemens, and we have the S3000 and the Sequoia. GE & Siemens Scanner Use is a MUST. DO NOT SEND IF NO SIEMENS FORCE.
• RTO - We can auto approve 7 days of RTO or less as long as it does not fall on a holiday. Anything more requires facility approval. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment due to orientation. • NC or Compact license pending OK for submission. Required in hand at time of start. • Candidates may float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby - Please refer to the job description for floating details. It is common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets and based on census. Candidate must be comfortable floating based on the job description with no restrictions or special requests. • Charting Exp Required - Epic is most common. Please review the specific job posting for details. • References - Pending references at time of submission OK. Required at time of start. Two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months are HIGHLY preferred at time of submission. • Fatigue Policy: Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row and/or more than 60 hours in a week. • Modules: Modules are non-billable. Acute Care roles: 8-10 hours of modules. Non-Acute roles: 4-5 hours of modules. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, and hours vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via online learning, and Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes.
