Description: 40 hrs a week Mon - Fri
Variable 8 hour shifts between starting between 7am to 9.30am
Weekends - are supported by call that rotates between 6 to 7 staff members
On Call - After 5pm daily and weekends that are supported by Primary and Backup call Techs

• Special Procedures/Unit Details: This is a Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology Department in a Level 1 Trauma center.
• Special Equipment: Must have neuro interventional experience: Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, and Carotid Stenting. Line access such as port placements, PICC placement, Dialysis Catheter Placement

Orientation is every Monday.
Pre Assignment testing (all RN s) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract.
EMR experience: 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required

Floating: Prisma Health s goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
