The Telemetry Nurse monitors and interprets rhythms, monitors patient's hemodynamic statuses, administers prescribed cardiac medications and Telemetry approved drips. The Telemetry Nurse is expected to recognize and assist patients in shock or those with other, life threatening, complications.

Float required as needed. All travelers subject to float across all Cone Health facilities if needed. Minimum 2 years experience required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OK!
BLS required, ACLS preferred.

• Interdisciplinary Support : IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary
• Patient Diagnoses : inpatient department.1:5-6 ratio. Specializes in general surgical patients, pre-op and post-op care needs. Remote Tele capabilities, Medical overflow including all except true Cardiac with Bipap and drips. CNA support and Unit Secretary. If not enough staff, we do cap beds so RNs do NOT go over 6 patients.
