Surgical Nurse Job Description: Giving preoperative instructions. Preparing patients for surgery. Assisting the Anaesthetist and Surgeons when needed. Sterilizing and marking incision sites. Intervening when there are complications. Administering medication. Preparing the operating room.

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:30)
Description: 1100-2330 with liver call - will do other cases if no liver/transplant

REQUIREMENTS ARE NON-NEGOTIATED.
• MUST HAVE STRONG LIVER, HEART, LUNG & KIDNEY TRANSPLANT EXPERIENCE REFLECTED ON SKILLS CHECKLIST.
• DO NOT SUBMIT WITHOUT THIS EXPERIENCE.
• MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MISONIX/CUSA.
• CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE PUTTING ORGANS BACK IN THE NEW PATIENT, NOT JUST HARVESTING.
