Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure. • Minimum years of experience in specialty. • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.

Experience: • Tech: • 3-5 years with Cath lab experience • First-time traveler: • Tech: Yes, only with 5+ more years of Cath lab experience in large 200+facility • Strong Cath Tech; EP experience is preferred • Average cases: 1-16/day; dependent on the days of the week
Support in the Unit: • Manager • Supervisor • Other staff (Techs, nurses) • Educator • No CRN • Bedside tele monitoring
Charting System/Equipment: • EPIC (preferred) • Mac Lab (preferred) • Alaris- RNs only • Pyxis- RNs only
Floating: • EP (if experienced)
Orientation: • 2 days of orientation • 1st day: Meet with educator (badge, login access, computer-based learning, compliance check list) • 2nd day: on the unit training with preceptor • Based on experience and comfort level
