Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure (e.g., RN, LPN, PT, OT). • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK THANKSGIVING OR BLACK FRIDAY. MUST WORK CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS. 4 Medical is a 25-bed unit, 11 are private rooms and 7 semi-private. Nursing ratio is 5:1 on days and 5-6:1 on nights, with nurses occasionally having 1 total care patient. We get a wide variety of patients, but our biggest population is stroke patients; we get most strokes that don't need TPA and comfort care or hospice patients. We also get a variety of post-operative patients, including amputations, drains, chest tubes, and feeding tubes. We get heparin drips, wound care, altered mental status, CIWA patients, Aki, dialysis, and COPD exacerbations. RNs who are stroke certified, able to do three 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday.
