Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.

Minimum 2 years experience required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS OK! EPIC experience REQUIRED All travelers are subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed. P/F Testing: All RNs, regardless of specialty, are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance. Please ensure your candidate is prepared aware of this requirement prior to submission. The candidate is allowed 2 attempts at a Pass/Fail requirement. Study material is not provided so please plan accordingly.
Patient Diagnoses includes but is not limited to the following: • Observation patients • Respiratory conditions and or problems (Oxygen up to 6L NC or by facemask. Higher levels of oxygen will require a higher level of care. Trach collar should be at no higher than 40%) • General Medical Surgical Diagnoses as appropriate • Palliative, End of Life, Hospice patients • Psychiatric Observation • Diabetes (including new diabetics, patients with complications related to diabetes • Surgical patients, surgical observation
Special Procedures/Unit Details: • Med-Surg Diagnosis not requiring cardiac monitoring • Age 18 or Older • Physiologically stable • Oxygen should be at a level equal or less than 6LNC. • Trach Collar less than 40 % • Comfort care patients are the exception to the above oxygen parameters. • Hemodynamically stable • Routine vital signs once a shift, unless otherwise specified • New admits; vitals will be q 4 x 24 hrs. • Routine assessments at least every shift (12 hrs) • Patients not requiring cardiac drips • IV drips accepted (In addition to routine IV fluids): Heparin, Antibiotics, & palliative medications
