Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Pediatrics.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: NICU, PICU, Peds Acute Care. high risk delivery attendance, external transports with competency assessment, pediatric ED (Level 1 trauma center), heliox use, HFOV, HFJV.
Special Equipment: VENTILATORS REQUIRED: Servo I PREFERRED: Puritan Bennett.
Minimum 1 year experience required. VA or compact state must be in hand at time of submittal. Locals accepted at same base rate. No radius rules for applicants. 2 References Required. Candidates will float within scope if needed. BSN preferred. EPIC charting experience required. Facility will review all background hits, etc.
Return Staff Policy: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler. VCU has a natural nail policy. All ER and Psych candidates are required to submit to fingerprinting as outlined in the code of Virginia, 37.1-183.3. The average turnaround time for the results is 15-20 business days. Candidates are NOT allowed to start with results pending. Please plan start dates accordingly.
