** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.  RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!   NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

** For Holiday Coverage, Travelers are REQUIRED to work ONE of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and Friday/weekend after  NOTE – Extensions that are requested to END in November or before the holiday starts in December will NOT be considered for an extension at the beginning of 2026

• May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
• Coordinates total nursing care for patients
• Participates in patient and family teaching
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

Submission Requirements

• 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience - Required
• May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg
• CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Previous Travel (at least 3 months) - Required
• BSN preferred
• This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference from within the past two years of employment
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile
• After 3 call offs, a traveler's contract will be eligible for termination due to lack of attendance at Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center's discretion
• Each call off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance
