Position/Specialty: OR X-Ray Tech
Daily Caseload per tech: Varies
Start Date: Start date will be 2-3 weeks from offer
Shift: Will work 3x12hrs Days Saturday, Sunday, & Monday 7a-7:30p with holidays as needed
Is on-call REQ? Call rotation for weekly call, 3-4 days/month.
Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No
Not strictly OR. Position is for Rutledge Tower (Outpatient OR) but if not busy then could be asked to work in the Main OR.

Required/Preferred
• Years of experience REQ: 1 year
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Certs/Lic Required: ARRT, AHA BLS
• Certification/Licenses accepted: ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R)
• Experience Required: Must have recent OR experience, C-arm experience
• Experience Preferred: O-arm experience
• Trauma experience preferred but not required
• Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Misc.
• Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles.
• Are locals accepted? Yes, at %10 less than the posted bill rate
• Pending State License accepted: SC license must be in hand prior to start
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Hurricane Season
** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
