• Unit Details:
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• IP OT will see patients in inpatient rehabilitation unit primarily with occasional floating on all inpatient units (clinical decision unit, ICU, telemetry, med-surg), surgical units (same day unit and short stay unit), and in the emergency department. The facility has a geriatric certified ED, and joint commission certified stroke and ortho programs.
• PREFERRED: Patient Transport to/from Treatment/ ER, ICU, MedSurg, Medical surgical, neurology, orthopedics, adaptive skills, Prosthetic Training, Special Equipment.
• MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.
• Requires specific amount of exp. - 1 YR exp. unless specified in title/description OR license required, can submit with it pending , unless specified in job title.
• References Required: 2 Supervisory References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead.
• Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by.
• Specific charting exp. required - EPIC required.
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
