Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Mgr is asking for at least 2 years experience as they need the candidate to be independent on night shift but would consider someone with 1-1 years experience IF they worked on a high risk/high census L&D unit. Additional Unit Information • Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation • Patient Diagnoses: We are a level II maternity unit with a Level 1 nursery. We admit babies >35 weeks gestation. We admit gestational hypertensives, pre-eclampsia, twins, diabetics, TOLAC's and all low risk patients. If newborn needs higher level of care, we transfer to the nearest NICU. • Special Procedures/Unit Details: We are a 14 bed LDRP and have 1 OR on the unit. We are 1:1 with active labors and 1:3 with postpartum couples. We follow AWHONN staffing standards. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. PLEASE NOTE - Must have a vehicle for this assignment! If required for the assignment, Client agrees to supply Providers with communication devices (i.e. cell phone, pager, etc.) needed to perform the duties as assigned at no cost to Provider or Agency. If Client does not provide a mobile phone required for the assignment, Client agrees to pay Agency monthly, for all work-related cell phone use by each Provider, up to a maximum amount of $50.00 as invoiced by Agency. Providers will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bill directly to Agency.
