Job Description: Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations. Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images. Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort. Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast. Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation. Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records. Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies. Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice. Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
Minimum 1 year experience required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS OK - as long as they meet min exp reqs. 3x12s, Days, 8a-830p FRIDAY - SUNDAY
• ARMRIT or ARRT MR req • BLS req • PACS and Siemens req. • Previous Charge exp req. • EPIC req • Adult Acute care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpt, ED Trauma req. Peds Acute Care preferred. • Abdomen, Abdominal MRA, Female pelvis, MRCP, Male pelvis req. Abdominal MRV preferred. • Chest req • Brian, Cranial nerves, Face soft tissue neck, Head MRA, Head MRV, Orbits req • Foot, Hand, Hip bony pelvis, Lower extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, upper extremity long bones req • Isolation precautions, prep and or admin of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs req • Gradient Echo imaging, MIP, Spin Echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images req. MRP preferred. • Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum coccyx, Spinal trauma, Thoracic, Thoracic MRA req
