The expected start date is based on Novant's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.

JOB DETAILS: • 36 hours can be offered. • Will accept 13 week contracts. • Shift: 12HR DAYS; 08:00 - 20:30; WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY • Call Requirement: Rotating. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: • 151-bed community hospital with two CT scanners located in close proximity to the Emergency department. The HMC CT department performs a variety of exams to include but is not limited to general scans, biopsies/drains, cardiac imaging, radiation treatment planning, and scans for research. • SCRUBS: Royal Blue • UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC • UNIT ORIENTATION: Approx 64 hours - 3 days - Corporate and 1 week - Facility/Precepted; Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day. • Candidates may float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby - Please refer to the job description for floating details. It is common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets and based on census. Candidate must be comfortable floating based on the job description with no restrictions or special requests. • Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics • Daily Caseload: ~100/day • Number of Rooms: 2 • Special Procedures/Unit Details: 191 bed community hospital with two CT scanners located in close proximity to the Emergency department. The HMC CT department performs a variety of exams to include but is not limited to general scans, biopsies/drains, cardiac imaging, radiation treatment planning, and scans for research. The department is currently under construction and has a fixed Siemens Definition 128 and a mobile GE Optima 64 slice scanner. • Special Equipment: Transcribed 03.21.24 gm
