Special Procedure/Unit Details: 3 Medical is a Medical unit consisting of 10 private room beds and 1 observation bed. The unit is equipped to provide telemetry monitoring to 4 patients with stable dysrhythmias. Typical patient populations on the unit are patients with a variety of chronic and acute medical conditions like CA, diabetes, renal disease, COPD, pneumonia and cellulitis. The population of surgical patient includes those who have had orthopedic, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, and general surgical procedures. Major neurosurgical and cardiovascular surgical procedures are excluded. The population includes adult and geriatric patients and excludes pediatric patients.

The unit is equipped to provide telemetry monitoring to ten patients with stable dysrhythmias. Typical patient populations on the unit are patients with a variety of chronic and acute medical conditions like CVA, diabetes, renal disease, COPD, pneumonia and cellulitis. The population of surgical patients includes those who have had orthopedic, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, and general surgical procedures. Major neurosurgical and cardiovascular surgical procedures are excluded. The population includes adult and geriatric patients and excludes pediatric patients. • Third Medical/Surgical unit consisting of 48 beds, including one negative pressure room and one designated Hospice room. The unit is equipped to provide telemetry monitoring to ten patients with stable dysrhythmias. Typical patient populations on the unit are patients with a variety of chronic and acute medical conditions like CVA, hypertension, diabetes, renal disease, COPD, cellulitis and pneumonia. The population of surgical patients includes those who have had orthopedic, genitourinary, gastrointestinal and general surgical procedures.
