13 weeks | Days | 12-hour shift | 36 hours guaranteed weekly

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The medical-surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those who require surgery both emergent and elective. Medical Surgical patients are given the highest standards of professional care by registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of MedSurg RN experience is required

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• Current unencumbered State of Oregon license as a Registered Nurse
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS/BCLS is required upon submission.
• ACLS and NIHSS required

EMR System: EPIC experience required

Shift:  Days (0700-1930) rotating weekends

NOTE: No excessive RTO will be approved, and there is no guaranteed work schedule aside from shift time.
