Any unacceptable attire: Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures and patient care requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative for obtaining optimal image quality and exceptional service. Has responsibility for all aspects of CT Imaging procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology; with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum CT scans, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Performs all duties and responsibilities consistent with Mercy s mission, vision and values.
Education: Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
Certification/Registration: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). ARRT(CT) registry
Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge. Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: This individual must be capable of: manipulating patient transfer equipment; lifting, moving and transporting patients continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to fast pace daily work load; communicating effectively. Able to work on GE Revolution (256 slices) newest platform and Siemens CT scanners, CTA and Perfusion knowledge preferred
