Unit Description: Medical Rehabilitation Unit inside a Trauma hospital. Primarily stroke patients (40%). Max 5 patients per day. Usually 3-4 patients per day 90 minutes each.
Scrub Color: anything except blue, forest green or maroon because those are nursing colors. We have T shirts for our unit that we are happy to share with you (you can tie dye them on lunch)

Submission Requirements:
• Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
• Flu Shot: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
• Covid Vaccine NOT required
• ONE PDF MUST CONTAIN: Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Min. 2 Mgr/Charge References (within past 2yrs.), RN Lic. verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date clean lic. required hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval), Driver's License, SSN.

Wide variety of technology available. Great collaboration between PT/OT and SLP. Rewarding results. The best kept secret for therapy in the state.

#Tier2 Travel Compliance
• SSN and DOB should be included on application at time of submittal
• RTO should be included on application at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 YEARS RN EXPERIENCE required
• WV OR COMPACT LICENSE - PENDING LICENSE ACCEPTABLE
• Candidates must have perm address greater than 100 miles from facility to submit! Facility will consider between 75 to 100 miles on a case-by-case basis. Rate will be the same.
• Minimum 2 Manager or Charge References within the past 2 years
• Certifications should be listed on application at time of submittal
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications must be via American Heart Association, if the Certification is required by the unit.
• Any previous probationary actions on license will be considered on case-by-case basis.
• Perm employees CANNOT RETURN AS TRAVELERS FOR 2 YEARS AFTER LAST DATE WORKED PERM.
• Current Vandalia Health System employees: please note, if candidate is currently employed at any Vandalia Health System facility (CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, Minnie Hamilton Health System) working as perm, PRN, etc. they will not be eligible for a travel contract at this facility. This is a Health System policy that was set in place when the above health systems merged into Vandalia Health.
• FULL FILE IS DUE NOON MONDAY PRIOR TO START. Insufficient documentation will result in a 2-week push.
• Orientation is every other Thursday.
