Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.
Qualifications: • Active state licensure. • Minimum years of experience. • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, or others as required by specialty). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to different environments and work independently.

Unless the RN is a returning Genesis traveler within 9 months, the only start date available is December 15th. RN will work primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit but will also occasionally float between various Med-Surg units (Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders, etc.). Night shift with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement. Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:1 with them are NOT options), so please ensure that this is documented in the referral information. Active BLS required. Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required (must be able to read Telemetry; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient).
Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13 week contract. These hours are not limited to 12 hour shifts and will be marked on the facility time report.
