The Interventional Radiology nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures. This role involves patient assessment, education, preparation for procedures, monitoring during interventions, and post-procedure recovery and discharge. The IR Nurse collaborates closely with radiologists, technologists, and other registered nurses to ensure safe, high quality, and patient centered care.
