ER Nurse Job Description: Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency. Quickly assessing patient needs. Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. Performing minor medical operations. Cleaning wounds. Drawing blood. Maintaining emergency room care standards. Assisting with insurance paperwork. Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process. Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Description: ER DAYS MUST BE WILLING TO WORK HOLIDAYS 48 hour contracts - overtime does not apply until after working 48 hours in a week shift is 7A-7P (48 hours) ASAP starts Previous travel experience a plus 2 yr exp preferred EMR - Paragon/Allscripts Travelers can be floated to similar units, will not float out of acuity Free Parking in Unrestricted Areas Block Scheduling If your nurse is requesting Block Scheduling, please just make it clear in the submission email.
