Intensive Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) | Night Shift | 40 Hours Weekly | Saratoga Springs, NY

A leading facility in Saratoga Springs, NY is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) for a full-time Night Shift assignment. This role is ideal for ICU clinicians who thrive in high-acuity environments, excel in independent critical thinking, and want a contract that truly elevates their practice.

Schedule
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
• 5 shifts/week
• 40 hours
• Every other weekend & holiday required
• Must be fully available through the holiday season

Position Overview
This high-performing ICU provides comprehensive care for critically ill adult patients requiring complex interventions, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and intensive nursing support. The selected RN will join a collaborative interdisciplinary team delivering evidence-based care to a wide variety of high-acuity patients. Candidates must be confident managing:
• Hypothermia protocols
• Balloon pumps
• Pulmonary artery lines
• Ventilated patients
• Advanced drips
• Continuous cardiac & oxygenation monitoring

Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Tele when needed (maximum ratio: 1:4).

Important: An on-site, closed-book ECG exam will be administered on Day 1. Score of 85%+ required. Study materials are providedreview is strongly encouraged.

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
• Active New York State RN license
• BLS & ACLS (AHA only)
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with balloon pumps, PA lines, ventilators, and advanced drips
• Must be available to work holidays
• NIHSS certification & 6 stroke-related CEUs required prior to start
• Must not reside in restricted counties: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per contract
