JOB SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests. They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.

• Respect the patient’s culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care
• Accepts constructive criticism and channels emotional reaction in a positive manner

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• A minimum of three(3) years of RN experience is required
• Clinical experience preferred

Education Requirement:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing is required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• Active NH RN License required or eligible to obtain an NH RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS required
• PALS is required
• Membership in a professional nursing organization  -Certification in specialty preferred.

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: Nights 7p-7a

Orientation: Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. The client has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
