Unit Notes: Important Info to Review: • Cannot take any travelers living within a 60 mile radius of the facility. • Local travel rate for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility (client rate will be reduced by $8.00 for those travelers). • Please provide good interview times in submission. MUST Haves: • 2 years experience in Cath Lab • Large hospital, level 2 or higher experience • Active ND or Compact RN License (willing to get) • BLS - must be AHA • ACLS - must be AHA
General job duties. Types of procedures required. Provide nursing care to patients coming to the cath lab, to include but not limited to, cardiac cath with intervention, device implants, peripheral vascular, stroke, structural heart, STEMI and Stroke patients. Comfortable with administering conscious sedation, and using ACLS/BLS. Completing nursing assessments.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) One Chart (EPIC), CUPID, GE MAC LAB, EKOS, Balloon pumps, IMPELLA, Angiovac, FFR, IVUS
Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years of cath lab experience, preferable critical care experience ICU, ED
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS and ACLS - must be AHA. ND or compact state RN license
Shift or schedule requirements. 4/10 hour shifts Monday thru Friday 7-5:30. Call every 2-3 weekends and one night per week. Potential on call hours with call team, might be the only RN on call but is part of a 4 person call team plus MD.
