The Medical/Surgical RN provides care for patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The Med/Surge RN collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse Need: 3South is a Med/Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center as well as a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). While most patients have a neuro-related diagnosis, 3S also serves as a telemetry overflow unit for other patient populations which allows the nurse to practice skills other than neuro.
Required: • Neurology experience • MS/Tele experience • BLS • ACLS • NIHSS • Basic EKG testing required and provided by the agency through Prophecy Relias. This exam must be successfully completed before the nurse can attend Orientation. • Every other weekend and holiday. • 36hrs per week guaranteed • Can offer longer contracts • Can and will be pulled to other units to support hospital needs.
