Unit Details: • Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) • This unit is no longer able to accommodate any RTO requests for the period of 11/23 through 11/29. • Locals: NOT accepted • Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 • RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays. • Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patient with some PCU level of care patients. We are also the oncology and stroke unit. MS patients are 1:5-6 ratio and PCU patients 1:3-4 • Will have cardizem, amio, insulin drips • Will see unstable strokes and BiPap • MPCU is a dynamic mixed acuity unit comprised of both medical surgical and progressive levels of care. Areas of care include oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal and pulmonary. • Must have solid Neuro experience • Will take MS/Tele or PCU RNs

Travel Compliance: • Travelers University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation. • RTO we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. • Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays. • If 1 position is available, we can allow 3 submissions at one time. • 18 months exp. required, however please refer to job description for any exceptions made depending on the unit • License: Must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once perm license applications have been submitted. • 2 supervisor references required • Local Radius: IN residents are considered local • Local Rules: Accepted: Surgical Services positions, Allied positions, and IU Clinics will accept local travelers • Not accepted: For MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions, locals are not accepted • Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by • Certs required please see job for posted certs depending on unit • No specific charting required for any IU health positions • Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer • Any PERM or PRN employee of IU must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
