Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.

Unit Notes: • Must Have: • Large hospital experience - 250 plus beds with level 1 trauma status • Experience working in acute facility with 15 or more OR suites. Outpatient center experience will not be a match. • Experience with robotics, DaVinici preferred • Min 2 years recent OR RN experience • Strong general and ENT • General job duties. Types of procedures required. Circulating nurses who will document and care for patients in the operative setting. This included sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, opening sterile supplies, positioning patients for surgical procedures, documenting within an electronic record, and utilizing/ setting up operating room equipment as directed. • Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Computerized charting modeling after the EPIC system, Accudose, cautery, lasers, laparoscopic equipment, arthroscopy equipment • Required skills and minimum years of experience.Experience with General surgical cases, GYN, Urology, laparoscopic. Some Neuro/Ortho procedures, experience with navigation. • Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, RN ND or Compact license • Shift or schedule requirements.8, possibly 10 hour days. Will need to stay late as needed - this time is not Call Back, but an extension of regular shift. Rotate to pm shift in rotation with all staff. • Call: 1 to 2 days a week and every 3 to 4 weekends. • Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)May float to Broadway or South University campus if needed. (Rare) • Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.25 OR suites. 75 to 100 cases per day on average • Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
