Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Job Type: Contract for Night Shift
Responsibilities: • Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity level. • Provide care in East Tower, including General Surgery, Trauma, Vascular, Wound, and Plastics departments. • Work 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours. • No on-call duty required. • Estimated patient ratios: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients.
Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of experience. • Current BLS certification. • Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and intermediate skills. • Prior experience with Epic system is mandatory.

Reference Requirements: • 2 professional references are required. • At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). • Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. • No coworker references accepted. • Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more • Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location • RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. • MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
