Description: • No RQI Certs accepted. • NM license can pend at time of submission. • Travel experience strongly PREFERRED; however, if traveler has 2+ years Level 1 Experience, client may consider. • 36 or 48 hour shifts. • Approximately 60%-80% of the Emergency Department is admitted, and many of the ED rooms are "ED Holding". • Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. • No locals within 75 miles. • COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of COVID exemption form, signed by a provider for medical. • Must have TNCC BEFORE submission. • NIH can pend until compliance doc due date before the traveler starts. • Currently seeing an increased number of admit holds. • Medication administration, including IV medication via the seven medication rights; document and communicate clinical findings.

Years of experience REQ: 2 years of experience required; will review for 1.5 years; Level I Trauma preferred. First-timers accepted: Yes, but travel experience strongly PREFERRED; however, if traveler has 2+ years Level 1 Experience, client may consider.
Weekend REQ: Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed. Weekend days constitute Saturday and Sunday, weekend nights are considered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Floating to Peds ED is optional, Floating to Adult PCUs is an expectation based on staffing needs. Potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma DOE as well.
Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: No locals within 75 miles. Pending License accepted: Yes. RTO Restrictions: greater than 7 days needs approval. Guaranteed Hours: contracted hours (36/48/40) / week, facility is allowed to call off 3x throughout a 13-week assignment.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: • Approximately 60%-80% of the Emergency Department is admitted, and many of the ED rooms are "ED Holding". • FLOATING: ED does have ED holding area, travelers are expected to work per staffing needs. Floating to adult PCU's is an expectation. Many are for Med Surg patients on PCU. This is done based on staffing needs and availability both of the ED, and of the rest of the hospital. This includes specialty needs of the ED, such as Trauma and Triage trained nursing to staff those specific areas. • Trauma/Resuscitation experience preferred. • Special Equipment: Medication administration, including IV medication via the seven medication rights; document and communicate clinical findings. • Bar Code Medication scanning is an expectation of all employees.
