Emergency Room Registered Nurse | Level III Community ER | s | Auburn, NY

Assignment Details
• Location: Auburn, NY
• Shift: 3×s | :AM–:PM
• Hours: guaranteed per week
• Unit Info: -bed ER
• RN:Patient Ratio — 1:5
• Charting: Paragon
• Proctored EKG exam on Day 1 (must pass)

Job Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across all acuity levels.
• Rapidly assess, stabilize, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with ED physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide pediatric emergency care when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Paragon.
• Adapt to fluctuating patient volumes while maintaining safe workflow.
• Participate in trauma response; TNCC preferred.

Requirements
• Active NY RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
• Pediatric experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA required)
• TNCC preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Must complete NIHSS certification + 6 Stroke CEUs prior to start
• Must pass EKG exam upon arrival
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per contract

General Traveler Requirements
• At least two years of recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and an active nursing license for the state of assignment.
