Description: 2S Med Rehab RN3xp-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Each patient has a care team assigned to them. A physiatrist, NP, nurse, 2 therapist (depending on need which 2 they are), and social worker. The team collaborates to create a plan for the patient. Therapy works with the pt's 3 hours a day M-F. LOS is around 2 weeks.
Orientation held every other week on Thursday
Certs Required: BLS (must be AHA), acute care rehab preferred
Ratio: Days 1:4/5, Nights 1:5/6
Experience Required: 2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required; Charge exp preferred
First-timers accepted
Every other weekend required
No call requirement
RN Can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs when required

CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH st. Submittals: • #Tier2 Travel Compliance • RTO should be included on application at time of submittal • Minimum 2 YEARS RN EXPERIENCE required • WV OR COMPACT LICENSE - PENDING LICENSE ACCEPTABLE • Candidates must have perm address greater than miles from facility to submit! Facility will consider between miles on a case-by-case basis. Rate will be the same. • Minimum 2 Manager or Charge References within the past 2 years • Certifications should be listed on application at time of submittal • BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications must be via American Heart Association, if the Certification is required by the unit. Any previous probationary actions on license will be considered on case-by-case basis. • Perm employees CANNOT RETURN AS TRAVELERS FOR 2 YEARS AFTER LAST DATE WORKED PERM. • Current Vandalia Health System employees: please note, if candidate is currently employed at any Vandalia Health System facility (CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, Minnie Hamilton Health System) working as perm, PRN, etc. they will not be eligible for a travel contract at this facility. This is a Health System policy that was set in place when the above health systems merged into Vandalia Health. • FULL FILE IS DUE NOON MONDAY PRIOR TO START.
