3xs, Days, 7a-7p. Rotating Weekends. Float required as needed. All travelers subject to float across all Cone Health facilities if needed. We are currently requiring one Holiday and one eve during the holiday period. The greatest need for day shift coverage is on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. For night shifts, we have needs across all eves and days, so there is more flexibility in selecting a night shift.
Minimum 2 years exp required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OK! Neuro PCU exp required. CVA, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing screen. Previous Charge RN exp preferred.
Unit Details: 3 West is a bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department with a primary focus on caring for medical neurological patients. A Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department CCMD provides monitoring surveillance for the patients. Staff is scheduled for 6-Week periods via a self-assisted scheduled through Optilink.
Patient Diagnoses: Primary Patient Population: Stroke including uncomplicated tPA patients, Tumors with aneurysms that do not require surgical intervention, Seizure disorders, Transient Ischemic Attacks, Traumatic Brain Injury, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular Disease, Headache, Epilepsy Monitoring, TR-Band. Secondary: DKA and Endo Tool, Stable multiple trauma inclusive of non-isolated head trauma, Spinal Surgeries, Subarachnoid hemorrhage stable, non-comatose patients.

EPIC experience REQUIRED. All travelers are subject to float to any Cone Health campus if needed. P/F Testing: All RNs, regardless of specialty, are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance. The candidate is allowed 2 attempts at a Pass/Fail requirement. Study material is not provided so please plan accordingly. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average s. Modules are completed during orientation, not included in NBO. Module hours are unit based, hours will vary.
