Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with healthcare facility policies and procedures. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation. • Adhere to infection control standards and other regulatory requirements. • Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans and treatments.

Additional Job Details: • Minimum 2 years experience. • EPIC experience required. • Specialize in the care of stable trauma patients. • Pre-op and post-op care of surgical patient population. • Use of rapid response teams, blood product admin and peripheral line care and mgmt required. • High volume patient populations include patients who have had exploratory laps, hemi-colectomies, mastectomies, lap cholecystectomies, eye surgeries, trauma and plastic surgeries. Lower volume populations include other types of surgical procedures; such as GYN (hysterectomy, myomectomy, etc). Palliative care patients, -observation patients, and medical overflow patients are also a part of the population served. • Special Equipment: Lift equipment, Wound vacs, Coude cath (can be trained). • All RNs, regardless of specialty, are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance.
